Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department is established inyear 2008, with an intake of 60 students, in the sprawling and beautiful campus of Government Polytechnic Awasari(Kh). The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members (HOD+8) to cater the academic requirement of the students. It has laboratories (total 9) to conduct all the practical’s prescribed in MSBTE curriculum.
The department conducts technical workshops in every semester to improve the technical skills of the students. The expert lectures on recent trends in Electronics and Telecommunication domain andon soft skills and motivation are amongst the prominent activity undertaken to improve the overall personality of the students. Theindustrial visits to various centers are regularly arranged in order to appraise the students with technological development in electronics. Departmental Students club "Electro Brain" organizes various technical competitions to update the students with knowledge of their field. The community service programs such as tree plantation, swachhata abhiyan, blood donation , social integrity, wetlandetc are clearly reflecting the responsible social perspective of the students.
First departmental magazine named "EMBEDDED 1.0" from 2017-2018 academic session provides platforms to showcase the literary talent and knowledge of students in technical and non-technical domain. The alumni of the department are doing their under graduate studies in reputed institutes and are eventually placed in renowned industries, also marked their presence in the domain of Entrepreneurship.
All the resources of the department are diverted towards the overall technical and soft skill development of the students. Every endeavors of the department are for making human being of high moral value and assets to the society. The department takes this opportunity to assure the stake holder of quality education embedded with Discipline, Cleanliness and Innovation.
